KASPR Datahaus uses this data to develop products and insights about human behaviour and economic activity for a broad range of clients.

Klaus Ackermann
CPO and Co-Founder

Dr Klaus Ackermann is a co-founder and CTO of KASPR Datahaus, where he is in charge of product development and data science. Klaus is Lecturer at the Department of Econometrics and Business Statistics at Monash University. He is currently a researcher at Center for Data Science and Public Policy – University of Chicago. His passion is in technology, economics, data and computational approaches to get exciting insights about human behaviour.

Simon Angus
CTO and Co-Founder

Dr Simon Angus is a co-founder and CTO of KASPR Datahaus, where he drives core development across the company’s global internet scanning and production infrastructure. Simon brings a decade’s worth of experience across computational and complexity science, with a particular emphasis on applying modern tools to new problem domains in the social, biological, and physical sciences. Simon also holds a position as Associate Professor of Economics at Monash University in Melbourne where he co-founded the IP Observatory and SoDa Laboratories, and has built machine learning technologies now deployed company-wide. Simon has also maintained a significant pro-bono portfolio of activity, including leading operations and analysis for a multi-million dollar not-for-profit start-up over its doubling growth phase.

Paul Raschky
CEO and Co-Founder

Dr Paul Raschky is a co-founder and CEO of KASPR Datahaus and brings in over 10 years of experience in applying statistical and geo-spatial tools to questions related to economic development, financial markets and the insurance industry. Paul is also a Professor of Economics and director of SoDa Labs at Monash University in Melbourne where he developed new methods to generate and analyse alternative data on human economic activity at a very fine spatial and temporal scale. Paul has consulted a number of international organisations, including the World Bank, and his work has informed policy-makers and business leaders in the insurance and energy sectors in the US, Europe, and Australia.
